Hurricane Katrina

The CFIDS Association joins with others worldwide in expressing heartfelt concern for the physical and emotional welfare of all those affected by Hurricane Katrina, especially those living along the Gulf Coast who also are burdened by CFIDS. We’ve listed below some resources for those who wish to offer or access support for storm victims.

Help with general hurricane relief: American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, America’s Second Harvest

Offer or obtain housing for hurricane refugees (include a note specific to housing those with CFIDS, if you wish): hurricanehousing.org,  http://www.shareyourhome.org/ and New Orleans ’ website

Investigate charities, including relief organizations: GuideStar, Better Business Bureau
