Yes. Kintera and the Association have made every effort to protect your privacy. They use industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the Internet. We have also installed an encryption engine on our database server so that your data is securely stored.

Will my friends and family members be put on vaious mailing lists? 
The Association will not contact the people who donate through your webpage unless they request information through the online donation form.

Can I import my email address book? 
Yes, you can import your current email address book into your My Cause address book. Click on the email tab in the "My HQ" section. Directly below the tab you will see a link titled "address book import." Simply follow the step-by-step instructions — My Cause tools will walk you through the process. How do I register for My Cause? 
Click on “Get Started” at the top of the page or "create your own personal page" on the left navigation bar. You will be guided through the registration process. Once you are finished, you will receive a confirmation email.

How can I see who has donated through my personal webpage? 
Click on “Main Login” under “My Cause HQ” on the left navigation bar. Enter the Username and Password that you received when you registered. You can then view your Donor list and the amounts that have been donated.

I forgot my Username and Password. How can I find out what they are?
Click here to find your password. You will receive an email with your username and password. If you still have problems, please contact us by visiting our customer support site. Remember that your username and password are case sensitive.

All of my donors are not showing up on my Honor Roll scroll mechanism. Why? 
Every donor has the option for his/her name to appear, or not appear, in the Honor Roll recognition scroll.

Why is the "Find a Friend's Page" function not locating an individual that I know has registered? 
Try typing in just the last name. For example, your friend “Bob Smith” may have registered as “Robert Smith.” Names are not case sensitive. If you have a problem locating a Participant that you are sure has registered, please contact us by visiting our customer support site.

Can friends and family make a donation by going through the main website? 
Yes. Friends and family can locate a participant by clicking on "Find a Friend's Page" located on the home page of the My Cause site. By typing in the name of the individual, they will be directed to the participant's personalized page.

What is the long website address included in my confirmation receipt?
This website address will take you to your personal donation page. This address link is automatically included in any emails that are sent through the email center in event headquarters. You can also copy and paste this link, or your friendly web address, into any other form of email.
