In today’s fast-paced, constantly changing world, I find comfort in the familiar.

When I arrive at the Association’s office each morning, it feels like home when I’m greeted by Nova Bouknight. And I am.

Anyone who contacts The CFIDS Association of America, whether for the first or the twenty-first time, experiences the same feeling of comfort when they connect with veteran Association staff member, Nova Bouknight.

In her ten years with the Association, Nova’s compassion (in addition to her broad knowledge of CFIDS) has made a difference to people struggling with the illness and their families. Despite extremely full days as the Association’s CSN Membership and Resource Services Coordinator, Nova takes real time to talk with all who call in search of information and to answer the wide-ranging questions that she receives every day.

Her words reassure. Her answers inform. Her spirit calms. Nova Bouknight has been instrumental in making the Association a comfortable and caring environment — a home perhaps — for people with CFIDS.
