April 15, the annual deadline for filing personal income tax returns, reminds us of where all those government dollars come from – our wallets! This year, spend some time the day after tax season ends focusing on how you’d like Congress to use federal funds.

On April 16 you’re invited to be among the first to use a fun, new and effective tool for reaching lawmakers, public health officials and media contacts about CFIDS. The Association’s Grassroots Action Center will go "live" a week from Friday. For each of the next four weeks leading up to May 12, International CFIDS Awareness Day, we’ll prompt you with text and other resources to generate a groundswell of support for increased research, awareness and understanding.

So, next Friday pack up the 1040 form, your statements and receipts and turn your attention to CFIDS advocacy. It’s never been easier to be heard.
