New stories about CFS continue appearing in national, international and local press outlets. Here are details on just a few. Announcements about the upcoming Stanford University clinical trial of valgancyclovir in a subset of patients with CFS has prompted media coverage by Reuters wire service and the Palo Alto News, picked up by other papers and news outlets around the globe. February issues of Woman's Day magazine and Consumer Reports On Health magazine both include information about CFS and provide resources for additional information. Both magazines restrict access to web versions of published articles to subscribers only. Coverage in south Florida continues to be strong, thanks to the work of PANDORA and the recent hosting of the IACFS conference in Ft. Lauderdale. Tomorrow, WPLG-ABC channel 10 will feature an interview with Dr. Nancy Klimas and Marly Silverman at 6:20 a.m., repeated in the noon news broadcast. Miami Living Magazine also features an article about CFS in its current issue (not available online). A November 24, 2006 article about CFS that appeared first in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has run in at least 33 other newspapers across the country!
