See "The Faces of CFS" in Boston

Advocacy Alert: 7/06/2007

The traveling CFS photo exhibit will be at the central branch of the Boston Public Library at 700 Boylston Street in Copley Square, Boston. The exhibit, "The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome," will be on display in the Rabb Lecture Hall lobby from July 16-23. Rabb Lecture Hall is located on the lower level of the Johnson Building. More information about the Central Library, including a map and directions, is available at http://www.bpl.org/central/index.htm.

The CFIDS Association's local media outreach to inform reporters about CFS and the exhibit has already begun. Three newspapers have confirmed coverage and other outlets are considering stories. Look for these papers' articles:

  • The Sun-Chronicle in Attleboro will cover CFS in its Living Well section cover story on Sunday, July 8.
  • The Eagle-Tribune in Andover will feature CFS in the health pages of its Lifestyle section next Friday, July 13.
  • The Boston Globe will run a news item in its July 16 Health/Science calendar.

Please share this news with area family and friends! We will keep you informed of additional media as we confirm coverage with reporters. We hope you'll be able to visit the exhibit during its one-week stay in Boston.
