Advocacy Archives: Appropriations
Federal funding for CFIDS research is determined by the actions of Congress and health agencies including the NIH and CDC. The maintenance and growth of these research programs depend, in part, on the annual appropriations process, during which Congress sets spending levels and priorities for federal programs. Each year the CFIDS Association works to influence this process and reports regularly on progress. Here we have archived the Association’s annual appropriations requests and recommendations, as well as the language written and passed by Congress.
