Spotlight on CFS
JillGriffin was a force to be reckoned with. With a 12-4 record in 2000, this young, talented softball player was on top of her game. However, Jill wasn’t on the pitcher’s mound for her 2001 and 2002 seasons. Visit www.cfids.org/about/jill.asp to find out more about her inspiring story and how Jill was able to use her love for softball to help others fighting CFIDS.

Lobby Day excitement is building!
100 CFIDS advocates will gather in Washington, DC September 17 -18 for the Association’s 12th annual Lobby Day event. Participants will educate their Members of Congress about CFIDS and ask for their help in securing an increased federal response to this debilitating illness.

Lobby Day offers CFIDS advocates (typically patients, their family members and friends) an opportunity to tell their stories, ask for the things that will further our cause and take action against an illness that has had a tremendous impact on their lives.

Next month’s CFIDS Link will bring you an update on what we accomplished.
