From the Desk of Kim McCleary
The CFIDS Association President and CEO stays close to the legislative scene, pushing Congress for greater attention on the issue of CFS. But she was once a beltway novice like most of us. Here's a peek at what changed all that for her.

Public Awareness Campaign Going Strong

Look for the TV and Radio PSAs on CFS
The television and radio public service announcements (PSAs) are now airing frequently across the country. You can help us by letting us know your reaction—or reactions of your friends or family—to seeing or hearing a PSA on chronic fatigue syndrome.

Want a Quick Way to Spark CFS Awareness?
Every week newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations and online media outlets are publishing stories about chronic fatigue syndrome. You can help spark awareness about CFS simply by visiting the Media Coverage section on our campaign website and clicking on the latest stories. We post new ones each week. By clicking through to each new story, you not only stay abreast of all the exciting media coverage, but you also tell each media outlet that CFS is a topic you're interested in, because they monitor how many people click on each story. Media outlets are much more likely to cover CFS often if many of their readers show an interest in this topic. Visit http://www.cfids.org/sparkcfs/media-coverage.asp and click away!
