In the fight to conquer CFS, everyone’s efforts count. Here are the Top Ten ways you can help the CFIDS Association of America conquer CFS:

Putting Your Contributions to Work
The CFIDS Association works on many fronts in the effort to make CFS history. Through your donations and support, we stimulate research, lobby for better legislative policy, provide information and services to people with CFS and their loved ones, educate medical professionals and work to increase public awareness of this debilitating illness.

7 Advise your health care professional that free information on diagnosing and managing CFS is available through the CFS Provider Education Project, a collaborative effort between the CFIDS Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 6 Attend a kNOw MORE CFS seminar, where you can learn from the nation’s CFS medical experts. These education and empowerment sessions are offered periodically across the country. Watch future issues of CFIDSLink to find out when one will take place near you.

4 Ask your employer or spouse’s employer about matching your personal gift to the Association. Many companies offer to match contributions to charitable organizations—effectively doubling the gift you’re able to give.

2 Include the CFIDS Association in your will and estate plans. Consult your lawyer or financial adviser to find the best ways to save money on taxes while providing for your family and continuing the fight to conquer CFS.
