Historically Speaking
Every community experiences certain milestones and shared events. As the CFIDS Association of America marks its 20th year of service, we’d like to honor the CFS community and the many people and events that have shaped our shared history.
So begins a year of observance . . . 20 years of victories and challenges, thousands of people who’ve dedicated their lives to the cause, hundreds of supportive organizations and generous donors, millions of hours of hard work by people with CFS and those who love them, and scores of researchers and medical professionals toiling to understand and treat this complex illness. And you. Together we’re making CFS history.
CFS is nothing to celebrate. But the lives and the effort invested during this 20-year journey warrant recognition. The advances we’ve made together along the way deserve acknowledgment. So we’re pleased to take the coming year to reflect back on what we’ve achieved together and look forward to opportunities ahead—to envision a future when CFS itself is a thing of the past.
We have a lot in store between now and next spring, including special coverage, special events and a special-edition publication this fall. Watch the CFIDSLink and other Association publications as the stories unfold.
Join us in marking the history we’ve experienced while working to make this illness history once and for all.
