CFS Seminar Coming to Denver
A half-day seminar on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia (FM) will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Sheraton Denver West in Lakewood, Colorado.
Appropriate for CFS patients, caregivers and health care professionals, it will also be of interest to fibromyalgia patients because of the overlapping nature of the two illnesses.
Two nationally known experts on CFS and FM treatment and research will be the featured speakers. A joint question and answer forum will follow the presentations, allowing participants to interact with the speakers, ask questions and learn more about the subject matter presented. Kim McCleary, the Association's president & CEO, will also give an update on national awareness campaign activities.
The seminar is being sponsored by the CFIDS Association of America, in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain CFIDS/FMS Association. It’s the seventh in the Education and Empowerment Series also known as “kNOw MORE CFS”—bringing CFS experts and insight to cities across the United States.
This half-day program is offered at a minimal cost to patients, health care professionals and anyone interested in learning more about CFS. Speaker bios and registration information will be included in the September CFIDSLink. To receive a brochure with complete details, please send an e-mail to cfids@cfids.org or call 704-365-2343.
