Out and About 

The Patient Alliance for Neuroendocrineimmune Disorders Organization for Research and Advocacy (PANDORA) is sponsoring a patient conference on chronic fatigue syndrome/fibromyalgia (CFS/FM) on Thursday, May 14. The Organization for Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Education and Research (OFFER) is co-hosting a conference about CFS and FM in Salt Lake City. On May 14-15, health care providers are invited to attend “Advances in Understanding and Treating CFS and Fibromyalgia.” Continuing education credits are available to registered professionals. Patients and interested friends and family are invited to attend an all-day session on May 15. Nationally recognized CFS/FM experts, including Drs. Lucinda Bateman, Leonard Jason and Daniel Peterson, are joined by speakers from the greater Salt Lake City area.  


Over the next couple of months, Terri Lupton, the Association’s Coordinator for Educational Opportunities, will be “on the go.” Terri will travel with a CFS exhibit to the following conferences of health care professionals, talking with attendees and distributing information about CFIDS. Make plans now to attend the American Association for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome’s bi-annual research and patient conference this October in Madison, Wisc. Mark your calendar for October 8-10, 2004. The Wisconsin CFS Association is proudly co-sponsoring this event and has many activities planned.
