Media: Media Tools

The CFIDS Association of America needs your help in spreading the word that chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction syndrome (CFIDS) is a serious, underdiagnosed medical condition. There are many ways that you can join the fight to raise awareness, and here are some tools to make your participation a little easier. You can use our sample letter to contact the health reporters at your local television and radio stations, newspapers and magazines. You can focus your activities around May 12, CFIDS Awareness Day, and use our Awareness Day kit, which includes a letter to media, press release, tips for talking to reporters, and a list of ways to reach media, the general public and health care providers. You can also use our medical professional survey materials, including a letter to the media, press release and survey fact sheet to promote media coverage in your local area.
