CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

Our Partners

Effective CFS education is best accomplished through the combined efforts of federal agencies like the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), national advocacy organizations, professional organizations and individuals. Partnerships and collaborative alliances help us distribute reliable, up-to-date information about CFS to the public and health care professionals.

Partner Organizations

Several organizations are participating as named partners and are working with the CDC and the CFIDS Association on CFS education initiatives for their members and the public.

American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
American Academy of Physician Assistants
International Association for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Society for Women's Health Research

Educational Collaborations

The campaign is also working with organizations through informal educational alliances to bring up-to-date CFS information to health care professionals.

American Academy of Family Physicians
OFFER, Organization for Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Education and Research
New Jersey CFS Association

Grassroots Partners

Many local and regional grassroots partners-including support groups, individual patients and health care professionals-are volunteering their time and resources to help educate people about the importance of early diagnosis and appropriate management of CFS.
