Personal Story Submissions
The CFIDS Association accepts
submissions of personal stories. No guarantee of publication is made or implied
and no compensation is given to authors.
Due to the volume of submissions received,
authors are notified only if their manuscripts are selected for publication.
Submissions will not be returned to authors but are kept on file with the
Association for possible future use.
By submitting an article to the CFIDS
Association, the author confers permission for the CFIDS Association of America
Inc. to use that material for any Association publications, including
educational materials and our website. All articles are subject to editing by
the editorial staff for content, clarity and space considerations.
- Article length varies based on where we
place the final story, and will be at the discretion of the editorial staff.
In general, personal stories should be 500 to 1,000 words.
- All submissions must include a brief
author biography and a recent photo if possible.
- Personal stories should be submitted to
stories@cfids.org. Articles can be sent in Microsoft Word as an attachment, or the
content can be pasted into your e-mail.
