About the author:
Susan Levin, MD, has been researching and treating CFS patients since 1986. Her early CFS research focused on low natural killer cell activity, disturbances in autonomic nervous system function, the potential role of retroviruses, and cortisol levels and other endocrine aspects of CFS. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine, allergy and immunology, and infectious diseases.
